Each individually numbered bottle of our 2016 AUBURN Cabernet Sauvignon showcases notes of red raspberry, red currant, and cocoa. Moderate oak appears along with darker fruits and dusty earth which expresses the Rutherford-like soils where this Cabernet Sauvignon originates. Similarities are immediately drawn to the iconic vineyards of Napa Valley when the Red Hills AVA enters any conversation. Top growers have made long term investments in Lake County and AuburnJames has partnered to bring this fruit to our winery in St. Helena from these vineyards in Amber Knolls, Red Hills, and Crimson Ridge while blending and balancing with Merlot and several Bordeaux varieties from the valley floor in Napa.  This wine, known simply as AUBURN, represents what we believe will be the beginning of the next chapter of great California wines!  Enjoy it now with your friends and a favorite meal...Cheers!
