Dark & rich in the glass with the sweet perfume aromas of bright ripe red fruits. This is a big well balanced wine combining the best of Napa Valley Cabernet with Alamo grown Tannat! The 2009 Diablo Rosso is a fruit forward wine with rhubarb, strawberry, and a floral hint of roses. The 2009 Diablo Rosso will continue to improve for at least 5 years.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot gives this wine a deep ruby color. It has aromas of dark plum, berries and vanilla. The palate adds caramel and dried herbs. It will partner with prime rib, salami, or an olive tapenade. You can also pair it with 55% cocoa chocolate.
