This single vineyard designate is a display of Old World wine making techniques and some of the best fruit grown in Napa Valley. Our 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon from Reverence Ranch in Coombsville is brimming with aromas of cassis, cherry and coffee. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, vanilla and spice lead to a velvety finish. This supple, lean and elegant style Cabernet Sauvignon has a slightly higher acidity, making it a perfect food wine. Lay down for a few years to reveal softer tannins and more opulent fruit.
This single vineyard designate is a display of Old World wine making techniques and some of the best fruit grown in Napa Valley! The Reverence Ranch vineyard in Coombsville, California (Southeastern Napa Valley) yielded a nearly perfect vintage in 2010 and AuburnJames has made the most of the precious 5 tons of fruit that were harvested several hours after midnight on that early October morning. The supple tannins are courtesy of the whole berry fermentation that took place over 19 days in two large French oak fermenters. A perfect acid balance gives this big California Cabernet the ability to support a cascade of flavors that will continue to delight your palate over the coming years.
