Jim Frost has been making wine for nearly his whole life. Growing up in England, he watched and helped as his mother made wine for family and friends. He continued the Frost family tradition of winemaking as an adult, and in 2005, he left the daily grind of work in the engineering world to launch Hidden Creek Winery at the Crush. Jim is an exceptional craftsman who has a firm grasp on both the science and the art of winemaking. In addition to developing his Hidden Creek brand, he offers a custom crushing service for small winemakers and hobbyists. It was through this process that he met Matt Ospeck in 2005. With a shared vision and a handshake, they forged a partnership—and the AuburnJames Winery was born.
